Multicultural Day and Half Day Camps
Our Multicultural Day and Half Day Camps run during school holidays; summer, Easter or Christmas. (Watch this space also for ProD Multicultural Day Camps).
Day Camps run from 8:30am to 3pm. Half Day Camps' timing and schedules may vary slightly but typically run from 9am to 12:30pm. Check the detailed schedule for the camp your child is attending for full details.
Activities depend on the Cultural Ambassador leading the camp and can include some geography, language learning, exploring the culture through arts, crafts, song, dance, music and sport. At all camps, your child will have an opportunity to experience and learn
hands on activities, creating arts and/or crafts
making (and eating) food from the cultural ambassador's country and culture
2024 Easter Half Day Camp - Squamish
2024 Easter Multicultural Half Day Camp in Squamish will run from 9am to 1pm on March 20 at United Church, Squamish. This camp will celebrate Slovakian Easter Monday traditions and food with our cultural ambassador, Barbora. Your child will have fun making traditional Slovakian braided bread, blowing eggs, decorating eggs using different techniques, starting a herb garden in the eggs, before cooking a traditional Slovakian Easter lunch with the eggs and bread.
May 10, 2024 Half Day ProD Camp - Whistler
Our first half-day ProD day camp in Whistler, is running on Friday May 10 from 9 to 12 at Myrtle Philip School. Your child will have fun with new tastes, crafts, and games - all part of this 3-hour experience.
Cost is $88.50 (incl. GST) including all costs for activities, crafts, apron, snacks, lunch and ingredients for cooking.
2024 Multicultural Summer Camps - Whistler
The 2024 Whistler Multicultural Summer Camps will run on a full day schedule from August 14 to 18 at Spruce Grove Field House. Pre-register now for just one day or the full five days. When registration opens in April, all pre-registrants will be contacted. Pre-registration does not constitute any commitment.
Cost and full details of the culture and activities being explored each day will be announced as registration is opened.
